ROOT CANAL THERAPY

Welcome to our office. We are glad you came in when you did. You have made a good decision in choosing to save your tooth.

Root Canal Therapy takes 3 appointments. It is VERY important that you keep each appointment.

The 1st step, Dr. Bonds will open the tooth to allow infected tissue to be removed. A temporary filling
will be placed in the tooth. When you return for the 2nd step, the doctor will reopen the tooth and shape
canals for ideal silver point placement. At that point, the doctor will place the silver points and temporarily seal the tooth. The 3rd and final step, silver points will be removed and the tooth will be sterilized. The doctor will then cement the silver points permanently and seal the tooth with filling material.

You will then need to make an appointment within 10 weeks
to place a crown as a permanent restoration on your tooth. A crown is ALWAYS NECESSARY after Root Canal Therapy.

DR. BONDS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISSED APPOINTMENTS TO COMPLETE ROOT CANAL THERAPY. It is YOUR responsibility to make and keep your appointments.
