Are X-rays safer today?

Absolutely they are!

In fact Dr. Bonds has recently invested in the latest Digital “film less” System. It is called DEXIS.

It reduces the amount of radiation another 70% from the already very low grade amounts in an X-ray.

To be outside for two hours or watch TV for 2 hours actually gives you more radiant exposure.

Dexis computer generated X-rays can be enhanced or sized for the doctors needs.

We recommend that periodic radiograph pictures be taken to ensure the health of your teeth and gum. These times are usually decided upon by the health and individual needs of your teeth. The early diagnosis and detection of both tooth decay and gum disease are enhanced by X-rays. Most Dental insurance companies do pay for periodic radiographs.
